On a cloudy day in Sevilla, we met Hector Bellerin. A football player beyond football. With his consciousness of modern society’s values of gender and race equality, Bellerin is also fighting for a more sustainable fashion world. This is what describes Hector and his way of living: His boundaries are much beyond the limits of a football field, extending himself for a more aware vision of the world at the moment.

” For me, BEYOND is surpassing limits. It means, as a human, is like stepping out of the box or going one extra mile for yourself or for something you need to do, or for other people. It is to be uncomfortable doing something that is not inside of your limitations. Limits its what makes you not go beyond: limits created by society, for example. From the day we are born, we are taught to have limits: Gender, religion, financial limitations, resources limitations depending on where you are born; Limits because of your race. So, I think, we need to jump over and break down those limits. “
Héctor Bellerín
“As Human beings, we are used to knowing the limits but a lot of times they don’t exist; Society just puts us in boxes and we believe that we are living there, in a “place” that limits our potential: our spirit, our humanity, our working potential in our talent, everything that involves ourselves are affected by those limits that are just a construction in our mind. Going beyond is about letting go of those chains, and we need to learn how to break them, as human beings, as a society, as groups, to go Beyond on a personal level but also on a human level and as a community. It’s to be aware of a cosmic consciousness we all share. This is what allows us to go forward and to break some of these blocks in our way to go beyond. ”
